Visa Requirements

International participants travelling to South Africa for ADHD 2027 may require a visa depending on their country of residence and nationality. 

We recommend checking the current entry requirements well in advance of your journey. Most attendees travelling for congress participation will apply for a visitor visa for business or conference-related travel purposes.

Vaccinations

South Africa requires a yellow fever vaccination certificate for travellers arriving from countries with a risk of yellow fever transmission, including certain airport transit routes. 

Participants are encouraged to review the current health recommendations and entry requirements before travelling to Cape Town.

Getting Around Cape Town

Cape Town International Airport (CPT) is the main gateway to the city and is located approximately 20 km from the CTICC. The convention centre is centrally located and easily accessible by car, taxi, ride-sharing services and public transport.

By Car

The CTICC can be reached directly via the N2 highway from Cape Town International Airport. Under normal traffic conditions, the journey takes approximately 20–30 minutes. Secure parking is available on site.

By Taxi & Ride-Sharing

Registered taxis as well as ride-sharing services such as Uber and Bolt are widely available throughout Cape Town. Dedicated drop-off and pick-up areas are located at both CTICC 1 and CTICC 2.

By Bus

The MyCiTi public transport network connects the airport with the city centre and serves the CTICC area via several routes. Airport buses operate regularly throughout the day.
