Welcome letter

8th World Congress on ADHD

From Child to Adult Disorder

22 - 25 April 2021
Prague, Czech Republic

                 Dear colleagues,

In the two years since we met in Lisbon, the science and practice of ADHD has continued to develop at a rapid pace. From new findings in genetics and imaging to novel therapeutics, we have much to share at the 8th World Congress of ADHD, which will take place in Prague from 22 – 25 April 2021. Hope you will join us in Prague to learn from world class researchers and clinicians and to share and exchange experiences with your colleagues from around the world.

In addition to the innovations about which we all need to learn, we will also highlight the World Federation of ADHD’s International Consensus Statement on ADHD.  This document was prepared by an international team of 37 authors representing 20 countries and six continents with the goal of communicating the basic uncontested facts about ADHD to patients, parents, clinicians, policy makers and other stakeholders. We hope it will educate the world and reduce stigma for ADHD patients and their families.

The Scientific and Organizing Committee will prepare a wide range of topics to appeal to clinicians and researchers. We have taken seriously feedback from prior meetings to continue improving the World Federation experience. We are certain that your time in Prague will be both educational and useful, as you will leave with new ideas about how to care for patients with ADHD or how to make meaningful progress in your research efforts.

And let’s not forget that Prague is a wonderful destination for those who also wish to enjoy its remarkable architecture, art and historical venues. It is very well connected internationally with easy accessibility and with no visa limitations.

We look forward to seeing you in Prague in April 2021!

Sincerely yours,
