Presentation Formats

Plenary Symposia (PL)
Duration: 30 min each
Plenary sessions will feature authoritative scientific updates on a comprehensive range of topics. Each daily session is composed of three or four 30 minute lectures presented by international leaders in the field of ADHD.

Hot Topic Symposia (HT)
Duration: 90 min
Parallel Symposia will feature comprehensive reviews of the most recent research results as well as practical issues in the field of ADHD. Each symposium of 90 minutes contains a theme of topical interest and is composed of three or four lectures presented by internationally recognized clinicans and neuroscientists.

Educational Seminars (ES)
Duration: 45 min
Educational Seminars are designed to be informal and interactive and will feature an update of current knowledge on clinical relevant topics. Each 45 minute seminar is composed of one or two lectures followed by discussion. To facilitate discussion, attendance is limited. Therefore book your Educational Seminar via the Internet already with your congress registration form or check ticket availibility onsite at the registration counter. Tickets are handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration fee per session: EUR 30. Only valid in combination with the congress registration fee.

Meet the experts (ME)
Duration: tbc
During this session, young investigators can meet leading experts in the field of ADHD and discuss with them their recent findings and questions.

Pro and Contra (PC)
Duration: tbc

Guided Poster Tours (P)
Duration: 10 min + 5 min
All accepted poster abstracts will be presented during these tours. The posters will be displayed in the poster exhibition throughout the congress. Depending on the number of posters daily changing might be required. Information regarding poster format, set-up and dismantling will be send to the authors with their notification of abstract acceptance.

Video Session (V)
Duration: 90 min
The Video Session will last 90 minutes. Two chairpersons, experts in the field of neurology and psychiatry, will present videos of scientific issues and will discuss the diagnosis with participants. The content of the sessions will be announced as soon as possible on this website.

Young Scientist Session (YS)
Duration: 4 x 20 min
Young Scientist Sessions aim at encouring young scientists to attend these interdisciplinary congresses in the field of ADHD. The sessions are composed of 20 minutes lectures. The sessions will be chaired by recognized experts for the featured topic. Session topics will be chosen from the abstract submission. Speakers will be younger than 40 years of age.

Workshops (WS)
Duration: 20 min each
During workshops leading experts in the field of ADHD research held discussions with the attendees. These meetings are aimed at a specific, interactice and limited audience.
